The UCL Film & TV Society turns 70 this year - and we are celebrating with a very special evening marking the anniversary on Sunday, March 18.
Join fellow members, as well as alumni and supporters, in celebrating this incredible milestone at the special 70th Anniversary Drinks Reception at the North Cloisters in UCL's main Wilkins Building. For our current members, this will be a great opportunity to meet past society members and Presidents, some of whom are now prominent figures in the industry; for the alumni, this is a fantastic chance to reconnect with old friends, as well as to meet some of our current cohort.
The reception will be followed at 7:30pm by a special screening of Christopher Nolan’s directorial debut FOLLOWING at Cruciform Lecture Theatre 1 - https://www.facebook.com/events/1975693509137582/
The UCL Film & TV Society has been a forum for both cinema lovers and emerging filmmakers at University College London since 1948. The society is not only one of the university's longest running societies, but also one of the oldest in the country - offering a range of exciting opportunities for all: ranging from film production to blogging/podcasting, as well as regular screenings, socials, and industry guest workshops on campus. The society has produced a number of notable alumni throughout its history, including Oscar-nominated director Christopher Nolan and producer Emma Thomas.
